Salaam!

I'm Fatima Al-Mansoori, a New Yorker embracing the tapestry of cultures. Amidst the vibrant mosaic of the city, I'm on a heartfelt journey to care for my aging parents and uphold the values of our diverse heritage. Join me as I strive to create a haven that reflects our global roots, connecting generations through love and respect.

The Beginnings:

In the midst of skyscrapers and bustling streets, I remember the warmth of my parents' home in Morocco. As the years advance, their needs grow, and I'm determined to honor their sacrifices by ensuring their twilight years are filled with love, comfort, and familiar traditions.

The Vision:

Imagine a home where Arabic melodies blend with English conversations, where the aroma of Moroccan spices mingles with the scent of American coffee. A place where our multicultural heritage intertwines, enriching our lives as we gather around a table laden with memories from around the world.

The Quest Begins:

Guided by the teachings of Islam and inspired by our shared values, I embarked on a journey to find a solution that aligns with our faith and embraces our diversity. Dyur's Sharia-compliant home equity crowdfunding offers the support I need to create a space where cultures converge and generations unite.

Your Role:

This isn't just my journey; it's an invitation to embrace the richness of our global heritage. Your contribution, whether financial or emotional, becomes a thread in the tapestry of unity we're weaving. Together, we honor our parents, celebrate our traditions, and strengthen the bonds of love.

Why It Matters:

Picture an NYC where cultural diversity isn't just celebrated but preserved. Your involvement paints this picture. By joining hands, you're fostering an environment where respect for traditions, languages, and values is not just a dream but a lived reality.

Join My Quest:

Let's create a haven where our parents' stories are cherished, and our cultural heritage finds a permanent home. Whether you're contributing funds or sharing insights from your own diverse background, your involvement brings us closer to a world where unity blossoms amidst our differences.

Conclusion:

From the depths of my heart, I extend gratitude for considering this journey with me. Each step, each gesture, each connection matters. Let's make NYC a canvas where cultures collide harmoniously, where love transcends boundaries, and where generations are bound together by the threads of shared humanity.

Shukran,

Why New York?
Here are the latest trends in the NYC real estate market as well as the statewide market. A prolonged scarcity of properties on the market, along with high prices and high mortgage rates, continues to impede the New York housing market. According to the housing report released by the New York State Association of REALTORS®, the number of properties for sale declined for the 37th straight month in year-over-year comparisons, while mortgage rates remain more than double what they were at this time last year.

The number of available properties for sale fell by 12%, from 40,321 in November 2021 to 36,490 this month. In year-over-year comparisons, the months' supply of dwellings stayed unchanged at 3.2 months. Months' supply is the number of months it would take to sell the present inventory of homes at the current sales rate. A balanced market has a supply of six to six and a half months.
Graph depicting the median sale price trend in New York, NY, from 2018 to 2023. The line graph shows two trends: one for New York with prices fluctuating around $800K, indicated in black, and another for the United States overall, with prices around the $400K mark, shown in orange.
