Abdul Rahman

Salaam Aleikoum,

I am Abdul Rahman, hailing from the poetic deserts of the Middle East. My life has been a tapestry of traditions, Bedouin tales, and memories of vast golden sands. But as I journeyed through life, I realized my heart's deepest yearning: to be an integral part of my grandchildren's lives, to pass on our rich cultural heritage.

The Beginnings:

Years ago, I would sit beneath a starlit sky, narrating tales of brave warriors and age-old traditions to my children. Time, however, has cast its shadow, and the distance has grown, not just in miles but in shared moments. Now, my stories echo in digital realms, longing for the intimacy of a fireside chat.

The Vision:

I dream of a space where the tales of our ancestors come alive, not through screens, but through shared experiences. To be there for their milestones, to teach them our native tongue, and to see them play in the same courtyards where their parent once did.

The Quest Begins:

Dyur's platform became a beacon of hope in my quest. Through its Sharia-compliant crowdfunding mechanism, I see a bridge that can span the chasm of distance, allowing me to be physically present in my grandchildren's evolving narratives.

Your Role:

By standing with me, you're not only supporting a grandfather's dream but also ensuring the preservation and continuation of our rich cultural tapestry. Your contribution transcends money; it brings stories, values, and traditions closer to the next generation.

Why It Matters:

In every tale I share, there's wisdom, values, and centuries of Arab tradition. Being closer ensures that these tales don't fade with time but find resonance in the lives and hearts of my beloved grandchildren.

Join My Quest:

Step into this heartfelt journey where the past meets the present, where an old man's tales find eager young listeners, and where traditions aren't just remembered but relived.

Conclusion:

Your support rekindles the age-old bond between a grandfather and his descendants, ensuring that traditions live on, and love knows no bounds. Let's unite to turn this dream into a heartwarming reality.

Shukran,

Abdul Rahman

Why New York?
Here are the latest trends in the NYC real estate market as well as the statewide market. A prolonged scarcity of properties on the market, along with high prices and high mortgage rates, continues to impede the New York housing market. According to the housing report released by the New York State Association of REALTORS®, the number of properties for sale declined for the 37th straight month in year-over-year comparisons, while mortgage rates remain more than double what they were at this time last year.

The number of available properties for sale fell by 12%, from 40,321 in November 2021 to 36,490 this month. In year-over-year comparisons, the months' supply of dwellings stayed unchanged at 3.2 months. Months' supply is the number of months it would take to sell the present inventory of homes at the current sales rate. A balanced market has a supply of six to six and a half months.
Graph depicting the median sale price trend in New York, NY, from 2018 to 2023. The line graph shows two trends: one for New York with prices fluctuating around $800K, indicated in black, and another for the United States overall, with prices around the $400K mark, shown in orange.
