Salaam!

I'm Hassan Rizvi, and for decades I've been the proud patriarch of a tight-knit family. While life has been a tapestry of rich experiences, there's a thread of longing that tugs at my heart – the distance that separates me from my cherished grandkids. Delve into my story as I yearn to lessen this gap and be an active part of their formative years.

The Beginnings:

Each Eid, birthday, and graduation marked by video calls, while blessed, evokes a longing in my heart. The joy of seeing my grandchildren grow, albeit through screens, is tinged with the wish to be present with them, to share in their daily joys and challenges.

The Vision:

It's simple. I dream of a home closer to my grandchildren – a place where the aroma of my wife's biryani wafts into their home, where impromptu visits become a norm, and where I can be present for the milestones and the everyday moments alike.

The Quest Begins:

In my quest for proximity, I discovered Dyur's initiative – an avenue that facilitates Sharia-compliant fundraising to make such dreams possible. With their platform, I hope to move closer to my grandkids, ensuring that they grow up with tales of our legacy and the warmth of our presence.

Your Role:

This aspiration isn't unique to me; it resonates with countless grandparents. With your support, we can turn this collective dream into reality. By contributing to this cause, you help in ensuring that grandparents aren't just voices over calls but active figures in their grandkids' lives.

Why It Matters:

There's a special bond that grandparents and grandchildren share – one of stories, wisdom, and unconditional love. By enabling us to be geographically closer, we not only strengthen these bonds but ensure that our traditions, tales, and values are seamlessly passed down.

Join My Quest:

Embrace this journey of bringing hearts and homes closer. Let's craft a world where the laughter of grandchildren rings louder in their grandparents' houses, and where every day is an opportunity for shared memories.

Conclusion:

Your support means more than just funds; it's a gesture of understanding, empathy, and shared values. Let's celebrate family, bridging the gaps not just of miles but of generations, ensuring that the stories we've nurtured find eager listeners in the eyes of our grandkids.

Jazakallah khair,

Hassan Rizvi

Why New York?
Here are the latest trends in the NYC real estate market as well as the statewide market. A prolonged scarcity of properties on the market, along with high prices and high mortgage rates, continues to impede the New York housing market. According to the housing report released by the New York State Association of REALTORS®, the number of properties for sale declined for the 37th straight month in year-over-year comparisons, while mortgage rates remain more than double what they were at this time last year.

The number of available properties for sale fell by 12%, from 40,321 in November 2021 to 36,490 this month. In year-over-year comparisons, the months' supply of dwellings stayed unchanged at 3.2 months. Months' supply is the number of months it would take to sell the present inventory of homes at the current sales rate. A balanced market has a supply of six to six and a half months.
Graph depicting the median sale price trend in New York, NY, from 2018 to 2023. The line graph shows two trends: one for New York with prices fluctuating around $800K, indicated in black, and another for the United States overall, with prices around the $400K mark, shown in orange.
