Greetings! I'm Jamal Uddin, a proud Bangladeshi American living in the heart of New York City. As I maneuver through the bustling streets, blending the beats of Dhaka with the rhythm of Manhattan, I'm on a mission: to find a home that harmonizes my cultural heritage with my devout Islamic beliefs.

The Odyssey Begins:

The lights of Dhaka and the sparkle of NYC might be worlds apart, but the heartbeat of faith is universal. I moved to NYC in my early twenties, embracing the challenges and charms of a new land. But with every success, a desire lingered: to own a piece of this city, riba-free.

The Vision:

My dream is simple yet profound. I envision a space where the adhan synchronizes with the city's symphony. A home that is not just an address but an amalgamation of my roots in Dhaka and my life in NYC. A sanctuary that respects and reflects my dedication to Islamic principles.

Embarking on the Journey:

The labyrinth of New York's real estate market is daunting when seeking halal financing options. But I've armed myself with knowledge, determination, and the wisdom of those who've walked this path before. I'm committed to finding that unique blend of home and faith.

Your Impact:

Your support is more than just financial. It's a testament to the unity of our Ummah. By contributing to my mission, you're endorsing a future where every Muslim, regardless of origin, can find a riba-free corner in this vast city.

The Greater Picture:

Your assistance transcends my dream. It sends a message that faith and finance can coexist, that cultural roots can flourish in foreign lands and that the spirit of Islam can thrive amidst the skyscrapers of NYC.

Walk with Me:

Join me as I navigate this challenging yet rewarding quest. Together, let's redefine homeownership in NYC, ensuring it aligns with our shared values and visions. By championing my mission, you are also upholding the dreams of countless others.

Parting Words:

Thank you for considering my story, resonating with my aspirations, and your potential support. Here's to bridging two worlds to crafting an Islamic legacy in the City that Never Sleeps.

Warmly,

Jamal Uddin.

Features:

An enchanting Carroll Gardens co-op with a private backyard, this rarely available 2-bedroom, 1-bathroom home is the quintessence of quaint Brooklyn charm. Vibrant northern and southern light spill through tall sash windows, accentuating beautiful parquet hardwood floors and filigree crown molding. One of the perks of this incredible home is private access to a virescent backyard garden with mature trees, a lush lawn, string lighting, high fencing, and a wooden deck perfect for alfresco dining, sun lounging, and more.

The home begins with an open-concept living room, dining room, and kitchen saturated with natural light. The living room features a wood burning fireplace, while the kitchen has tiled floors, ample storage, and an integrated range hood.

French doors lead into a capacious bedroom that overlooks the garden and has built-in closets and an en-suite bathroom with a classic pedestal sink and a deep tub. The second bedroom has overhead cupboard space, access to the backyard, and can easily be used as an office, den, or library. A stacked washer/dryer completes the home.

Why New York?
Here are the latest trends in the NYC real estate market as well as the statewide market. A prolonged scarcity of properties on the market, along with high prices and high mortgage rates, continues to impede the New York housing market. According to the housing report released by the New York State Association of REALTORS®, the number of properties for sale declined for the 37th straight month in year-over-year comparisons, while mortgage rates remain more than double what they were at this time last year.

The number of available properties for sale fell by 12%, from 40,321 in November 2021 to 36,490 this month. In year-over-year comparisons, the months' supply of dwellings stayed unchanged at 3.2 months. Months' supply is the number of months it would take to sell the present inventory of homes at the current sales rate. A balanced market has a supply of six to six and a half months.
Graph depicting the median sale price trend in New York, NY, from 2018 to 2023. The line graph shows two trends: one for New York with prices fluctuating around $800K, indicated in black, and another for the United States overall, with prices around the $400K mark, shown in orange.
