Aisha Abdul-Rahman

Salaam! I am Aisha Abdul-Rahman, a proud blend of Moroccan heritage and Bronx grit. As the rhythm of NYC pulses and the tapestry of cultures weaves its spell, my quest is to find a corner in this vast metropolis that echoes the chants of Adhan with the beats of the Bronx. Embark on my journey, a tale of merging worlds and seeking sanctuary.

The Beginnings:

Born to Moroccan immigrants, the stories of

The Atlas Mountains and Saharan nights were my lullabies. As I grew, the Bronx's streets became my playground – where tagine aromas met the scent of street food, and the melodic Quranic verses blended with the hum of subways.

The Vision:

I dream of a home where my two worlds converge – a space that speaks of Moroccan arches and NYC lofts, where the minaret's silhouette meets city skyscrapers, and the city's symphony answers the muezzin's call.

The Quest Begins:

My search for the perfect home began in a city that never sleeps. It is a place where my kids can grow, understanding their rich Moroccan legacy and their vibrant Bronx heritage while living in harmony with Islamic principles.

Your Role:

This narrative isn't mine alone; it's a story of every immigrant, every dreamer, every believer striving to mesh their traditions with the allure of the Big Apple. By aiding my endeavor, you become a part of a movement that values roots and wings, faith, and freedom.

Why It Matters:

Imagine a NYC that celebrates its diversity even more vividly, where every home tells a story of journeys, faiths, and dreams. Your support is a step towards a city that embraces its global heart and soul.

Join My Quest:

With all the warmth of Moroccan hospitality and the energy of NYC, I invite you to be a part of this adventure. Let's set a precedent, creating homes that honor where we come from and are headed.

Conclusion:

With gratitude as vast as the Sahara and as heartfelt as a New York minute, I thank you for considering this journey with me. Here's to building bridges, homes, and legacies that transcend borders and touch souls.

Jazakallah khair,

Aisha Abdul-Rahman.

Why New York?
Here are the latest trends in the NYC real estate market as well as the statewide market. A prolonged scarcity of properties on the market, along with high prices and high mortgage rates, continues to impede the New York housing market. According to the housing report released by the New York State Association of REALTORS®, the number of properties for sale declined for the 37th straight month in year-over-year comparisons, while mortgage rates remain more than double what they were at this time last year.

The number of available properties for sale fell by 12%, from 40,321 in November 2021 to 36,490 this month. In year-over-year comparisons, the months' supply of dwellings stayed unchanged at 3.2 months. Months' supply is the number of months it would take to sell the present inventory of homes at the current sales rate. A balanced market has a supply of six to six and a half months.
Graph depicting the median sale price trend in New York, NY, from 2018 to 2023. The line graph shows two trends: one for New York with prices fluctuating around $800K, indicated in black, and another for the United States overall, with prices around the $400K mark, shown in orange.
