Idris Abdul

Assalamu Alaikum!

I'm Idris Abdul, once an active member of our vibrant Brooklyn community, where our unity was our strength. Now, distance has made me a stranger, and I long to be amongst familiar faces once again.

The Beginnings:

Brooklyn was where we celebrated, mourned, and prayed together. Every street corner has a memory, and every mosque echo contains the voices of friends I still hold dear.

The Vision:

To reside once again among those I call family, to walk the streets with stories, and to be part of a community that reflects my faith and values.

The Quest Begins:

The dream seemed distant until Dyur came into the picture. Their promise of Sharia-compliant home equity crowdfunding means I can reunite with my community without compromising my beliefs.

Your Role:

Your contribution brings me one step closer to the heart of our community. But more than just funds, your support is a reaffirmation that our community's bonds are timeless.

Why It Matters:

Everyone deserves to be where they feel they belong. Your support ensures that distance doesn't keep anyone from their community, their friends, and the places they cherish.

Join My Quest:

Help me bridge the gap between memory and reality. Together, we can fortify the spirit of unity, ensuring that every member of our community finds their way back home.

Conclusion:

Thank you for being a beacon of hope in my journey back. Every contribution, prayer, and share adds threads to the tapestry of our vibrant community.

May Allah reward you abundantly,

Idris Abdul

Why New York?
Here are the latest trends in the NYC real estate market as well as the statewide market. A prolonged scarcity of properties on the market, along with high prices and high mortgage rates, continues to impede the New York housing market. According to the housing report released by the New York State Association of REALTORS®, the number of properties for sale declined for the 37th straight month in year-over-year comparisons, while mortgage rates remain more than double what they were at this time last year.

The number of available properties for sale fell by 12%, from 40,321 in November 2021 to 36,490 this month. In year-over-year comparisons, the months' supply of dwellings stayed unchanged at 3.2 months. Months' supply is the number of months it would take to sell the present inventory of homes at the current sales rate. A balanced market has a supply of six to six and a half months.
Graph depicting the median sale price trend in New York, NY, from 2018 to 2023. The line graph shows two trends: one for New York with prices fluctuating around $800K, indicated in black, and another for the United States overall, with prices around the $400K mark, shown in orange.
