I never thought owning a home would be so hard. My husband and I have been saving for years in hopes of finally getting a foot in the door of the housing market. But, despite all our efforts, we still haven't been able to come up with enough money for a down payment.Recently, the pressure to buy a home has become overwhelming.

The divorce was final, and my life had been turned upside down. Having to start over as a single parent with three children was a huge challenge. My heart ached, knowing that I had to find a home for my little family to call their own. I was scared of the jump into the unknown, yet I knew that this was the best option for our future.

Sitting in my doctor's office filled my stomach with butterflies. The moment I had been dreaming for months was finally here: I was pregnant. As the reality of my situation set in, I began to worry about where I would raise this child.  I had just moved into a new apartment and was curious if it was the right place to bring a little one into.

It felt like my world was falling apart. Like a dam had broken, and all my hopes and dreams and security had been washed away in flood. The divorce was final, my marriage was over, and I had to pick up the pieces to start over for my children and me. I had no idea how I was going to rebuild the life I had worked so hard to create.
